Woman, 67, who battled blood cancer for five years 'recovers after treating it with TURMERIC' in the first recorded case of its kind

A woman who battled blood cancer for years without success finally halted the disease with turmeric, it has been reported.

Dieneke Ferguson is now leading a normal life after giving up on gruelling treatments that failed to stop it.

Doctors say her case is the first recorded instance in which a patient has recovered by using the spice after stopping conventional medical treatments.

With her myeloma spreading rapidly after three rounds of chemotherapy and four stem cell transplants, the 67-year-old began taking 8g of curcumin a day – one of the main compounds in turmeric.

Some good lessons to be learned from this story:

There are a lot of solutions to medical problems which are available on the internet. Sometimes these solutions are better than what medical professionals provide for a variety of reasons. The key is to do a lot of research and evaluation of the information that you gather.

This is not to advise against doctors...of course not. However doctors can be wrong because of their lack of total available knowledge or from choosing their personal profit over what is truly best for the patient.

Also keep in mind that we are all different by at least a little bit. No human being even has the same set of fingerprints as someone else. So taking into consideration the entire human body, a medical solution for one person may not work for another.

Perhaps the most important lesson of all...never quit on hope until your last breath. New remedies to cure disease and help us lead a longer, healthier life are being discovered all the time.
