Controversial sugar industry study on cancer uncovered

An old study is now shedding new light on the sugar industry's controversial past, and its secrets are being revealed in a new paper.

The 1960s study, which suggests a link between a high-sugar diet and high blood cholesterol levels and cancer in rats, was sponsored by the sugar industry, according to the perspective paper published in the journal PLOS Biology on Tuesday.

Yet the study itself was never published and has been forgotten until now.

Seems to me that the liberal media who are good friends with trial lawyers, is trying here to stir up business for trial lawyers thru possible lawsuits. So that their already filthy rich trial lawyer buddies can get filthy richer.

It's already common knowledge that too much sugar in your diet is not healthy. Unfortunately, too many people out there cannot resist the sweet taste of sugar. When they can't resist, the long term effects to their health can be disastrous.

That being said, from studies I've read, sugar is actually healthier than those sugar substitutes. So if you have a "sweet tooth" and can't resist the sugar, then you're better off consuming sugar rather than harmful sugar substitutes.

There are healthy ways to substitute sugar in your diet and still get a sweet taste. With food I choose organic fruits which are absolutely delicious. With drink I choose organic fruit juices which are also absolutely delicious. The cost of buying organic food and drink is a bit more expensive, but I figure my good health is well worth the price.
